This is the last of my small paintings for now, now that I have a bigger studio space. I had started this one in my home studio before I moved into Inscape Arts but just decided to finish it this month 🦋
The inspiration came when I was visiting a dry dusty graveyard I had never been to before. This butterfly with a broken wing came out of no where and landed on my hand for a while. I tried to get a photo of it there but my movement caused it to flutter over to a nearby railing where I was able to get a pic. It made my think of my grandmothers.
