This piece is about beauty in simplicity. I found this cobalt blue vase with simple angular shapes running down the sides and a heavy clear base at a Goodwill in Seattle. It paired beautifully with some bright yellow callas I bought at Trader Joe's - both for the bright primary colors and the lovely, clean, flowing lines. Together, they created a color story about nature and created new light and shapes in the sunlight on my deck; the shadow becoming a third object in their union.
